Duck and Ducklings is another fun quilt block I mentioned in the book Mally the Maker and the Queen in the Quilt. I imagined one of these blocks would create a big mama duck and four ducklings. Because this is such an easy block to piece, Quilst has to be populated with ducks! LOL! Enjoy piecing this super simple block with me by following along with this video:

Mini Duck and Ducklings Quilt Block Piecing Instructions

This really is one of the simplest mini blocks in the whole series! To begin, you’ll piece a tiny “+” sign shaped block, then surround it with a border of squares and rectangles. Here’s what it looks like when you finish piecing your Duck and Ducklings Quilt Block:
