We started this online quilt shop in 2009 to help quilters easily find the best free motion quilting tools and supplies. I’ve also written a variety of books on free motion quilting, walking foot quilting, and quilt piecing. I’ve even written a quilt fiction novel as well!
Becoming a Sewing Machine Dealer
In 2018, Josh and I became sewing machine dealers. Over the years, I’ve sewed and quilted on many different machines and brands. We searched for a machines we could both feel confident and happy to sell that were a great value for the money.

Longarm Quilting… What?!
After nearly a decade of being a die hard home sewing machine quilter, I became curious about longarm quilting. I wanted to quilt my quilts differently, with more open space between the lines and a lot faster too. I rented time at a local longarm dealer and instantly realized this was a much faster and physically easier method of quilting.
Luckily I was introduced to Grace Company and tried out the Qnique 15-inch longarm. I loved the simplistic design and very affordable price and soon Josh and I became dealers for this Grace Company as well.

No, longarm quilting is not evil! It’s simply a machine and nothing to get emotional about (something I’d been doing for years). Once I gave myself permission to get curious about longarms machines, I found so much more enjoyment and happiness in my quilting craft. I’m able to quilt my quilts so much faster and easier now and that feels great.
The Quilt Shop at LeahDay.com has definitely grown over the years, but my goal is always to bring you quality tools and supplies. I want to help you quilt your quilts on whatever type of machine you have.
