Let’s Piece a Friendship Star – Mini Block Monday #15

Last year we made supersized Friendship quilt block each month. I figured we should try one more Friendship Star, but this time make it a mini! In this video, you’ll how to piece this block AND how to piece 4-at-a-time Half Square Triangles too:

Friendship Star Block Piecing Instructions

This block is pieced with four Half Square Triangles. I could have continued to make these with the normal two-at-a-time method I’ve used for years, but I decided to shake things up and try a new method to make 4 at a time from a second of rectangles. Watch the video to see how it works, then trim the HSTs to measure 1 1/2 inches square.
