Wonky Christmas Tree Quilt Pattern
My Christmas spirit is needing a boost this week so I decided to pull out my Wonky Christmas Tree blocks and make a new quilt.
Except I couldn’t find them.
I think I gave away this past spring as I purged everything in my sewing room. 2020 is a gift that keeps on giving.
But that’s okay! Wonky Christmas Trees are so easy and fast to create, it’s easy to piece up a new batch. If you are also needing a Christmas spirit boost, click here to find the Wonky Christmas tree pattern and two video tutorials.
Let’s go quilt,
Leah
I have made a quilt using these kind of trees before and it was so much fun. In fact, when you use different fabrics for background, , I think the background became the next tree, making for a very colourful tree. This year I’m going to try your method. I think that one of my kids don’t have got a Christmas tree quilt yet, so this is just the ticket. Thanks
Thank you for sharing! That sounds beautiful!
What a fun and carefree block to sew. Thanks for the free pattern. I really enjoy your videos and website. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Wanda!
New to quilting but not sewing. I have been making masks since our first shutdown in the spring. I had tons of wonky off cuts that were too cute to throw out so I started piecing them together. Before I knew it I had blanks for trees. I found your tutorial for wonky trees and I was hooked.
I got a new Janome machine for Christmas and I have been making blocks like crazy!
I have been reading everything I can on your site and can’t wait to start putting everything together.
So glad I found your tutorials!
