Piece a Tiny Bears Claw Block – Mini Block Monday #28

Last year I got an interesting comment on my Bears Claw Block tutorial for the Friendship Quilt Along. Laurie said, “I’ve never seen a bear with 8 claws per paw, LOL!” This week’s tiny Bears Claw Quilt Block is a bit more realistic:

Mini Bears Claw Quilt Block Piecing Instructions

This Bears Claw Quilt Block is very easy to piece. First you’ll make four Half Square Triangles using the 4 at a Time Method. Trim down your HSTs to measure 1 1/2 inches square.

Then arrange your units into rows and piece them together. Here’s what it looks like when you finish piecing your Bears Claw Quilt Block:
