I finally finished piecing my 2 “Bear’s Paw” (I’ve never seen a bear with 8 claws per paw, LOL) block last night. Not sure why I had so much trouble with this block, it seemed simple enough but I ripped several times and ended up with some odd looking border triangles as I could not get it to line up properly! Not ripping any more! Going to quilt them and love the imperfections or design elements as I call them. Looking forward to the next block and hopefully it will not give me any grief, LOL. I do have a question, is there any reason why we shouldn’t start connecting some blocks? I’m making a king and have blocks completed for 2 of my rows.
LOL! I didn’t even think about making it realistic. I just went a bit crazy with the HSTs! I’m so sorry you struggled with this one. The sizing was a bit weird and I tried to make that clear in the pattern. Yes, less ripping and more fun quilting!
