Lisa’s Building Blocks Quilt

Here’s another finished Building Blocks quilt, this time from Lisa P!

This BBQA has been the best FMQ learning experience. I have enjoyed the international participation of all the members with multiple skill sets, creativity, and the variety of color and pattern choices – sky’s the limit for quilt design.

I used wool fabric which had been sitting on a shelf for 20 years. Wool is difficult to mark and the light box was of no help. Most of my FMQ was freehand. This dilemma challenged my beginner skills. I am proud of my accomplishment and grateful to Leah for creating this project. Most people I showed the quilt to said I should keep it but I decided to donate the quilt. This quilting experience has motivated and inspired me to press forward to the next challenge!!!

What a beautiful quilt Lisa! I’m so happy to be able to help you in your quilting journey and use up all that wool fabric!
