Margie’s Building Blocks Quilt

Margie’s Story – I have never done anything like this quilt-along before but boy oh boy, I sure did enjoy it.  I used a layer cake for the back “Oasis” by 3Sisters and my thread was Robison-Anton.

I have been either stippling or qitd (quilt in the ditch) for all my quilts for years but since doing this project, a whole new world has opened up to me.  I am having a blast!  I still don’t like circles though.☺️

I am really looking forward to the next project in 2015.  Many thanks to you and Josh for all your encouragement and support during 2014.

Thank you Margie for sharing your beautiful quilt with us! I’ve been checking out all the quilts that have been linked up so far and it’s so wonderful to see the progress quilters made from Block #1 to Block #12.
