Your book and your DVD have safely arrived in Switzerland and I am very happy about it! So much inspiration you give, thank you! I am sure there will be a lot of pleasure to have a go on all the various designs.
With great interest I am following your 365 days posts of free motion quilting filler designs.
    Best wishes,

I think this is a very nice design. As a farm wife, I think it would be interesting to see the farmers harvest cotton. It's too cold to grow cotton here in Ohio 🙂

    Hi, Leah!

Totally off topic, random question here that I also just posted on my own blog, imakwiltnoob.blogspot.com.

Have you ever used fusible batting? I just noticed it is offered in a catalogue I just got in the mail, and I am sort of intrigued. I don't want to waste my money on any gimmicky quilting gizmos that don't work! On the other hand, no more basting and pinning sounds delicious!

Hey Mary – I've never used fusible batting myself, but I do have a spare crib sized fusible bat floating around the sewing room. Would you like to give it a test run?

Shoot me an email with your mailing address and I'll send it to you. Gotta downsize somehow!

Barbara – That is EXCELLENT to hear! I'm so glad the book and DVD arrived so quickly!

    Cheers,

    Leah

Thanks, Leah! I'll give it a whirl! I'm happy to send postage.

    Leah,

I like raw cotton. It would be really cool on a floral. I sometimes do floral painting on a hand dyed fabric and this design would make it look like a wild garden.

Just received your book, but no time to look at it.
