Leah Day has been teaching online since 2009. She's the creator of the Free Motion Quilting Project, a blog filled with thousands of quilting tutorial videos. Leah has written several books including 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs, Explore Walking Foot Quilting with Leah Day, and Mally the Maker and the Queen in the Quilt.

    Here are some of my favs, mostly beginner. I've used them all and know I can stitch them. I was filling 5 1/2" blocks on a sampler medallion quilt. I'll send you pics via email. Gentle Flame (3),
    Basic Spiral (5), Flowing Glass (15), Striated Earth (23), Trailing Tears (30), Flame Stitch (38), Flower Ball (94), Swirling Petals (132), Square Spiral (189).

    I used broken glass as the border design for one of two borders of a contemporary style quilt, and made a garland of echoed stars for the other border. I'm quite pleased with the results.
