Josh’s Straight Lines in a House Block

Josh here. Today it’s my turn on our new house block, which I’m already enjoying.

And here is the video:

Lot of travel stitching issues in this one. If I had planned from the beginning, this would have been much easier and smoother and looked a whole lot better. Even skipping a good number of the lines, I still had problems with travel stitching.

Looking at the finished block, I can still clearly see the big issues and mistakes with this block. However, this was still a good lesson on creating a path for travel stitching, so I am not unhappy with my decision to ultimately keep the flawed block instead of stitching a new one.

Until next week, let’s go quilt.

I had travel stitching issues on mine too- I went over the same area just too many times. But I still like the block.
