66. Free Motion Quilting: Oblivion, #411

I had a blast wild quilting yesterday and letting fabric flow crazily over my quilt. Today I’m tapping into my creativity again to put together a funky new design:

This Oblivion is a combination of McTavishing with Blind Eyes and a ton more echoes! It’s definitely a multi-step design that might take a little practice to master, but stick with it because the end result is totally worth it.

This is a multi-step design, so watch the video a few times, then practice drawing the design on paper. Yes, I know it’s frustrating to be told to draw when you want to quilt, but building skill on paper is cheaper and easier than stitching it out on fabric, getting lost in the design, and having to rip out or throw away your block. So DRAW IT first! It’s good practice and time well spent getting the hang of any design.

Let’s go quilt,
