69. Free Motion Quilting Stitch Dot Turn, #414

It’s time to quilt! Here’s a fun design variation of Left Turn, Right Turn. The only thing I’ve added is a dot filled with thread painting which turns this into Stitch, Dot, Turn:

Stitch Dot Turn, Left Turn Right Turn, Curvy Turns, and Angle Turns are all designs built on this idea of stitching from edge to edge and branching out to the left and right. It’s a pretty simple idea, but aren’t the different textures they make awesome?

This design was also featured in the Craftsy class Free Motion Fillers Volume 2. If you’re wanting to learn more about Edge to Edge designs or find lots of designs that will work great in the sashing of your quilts, definitely click here to sign up for this class!

Let’s go quilt,
