Hi Leah! I haven't watched your video yet, but this evening I should have time finally. This kind of fill is interesting to me. I went to the Home Machine Quilting Show in Salt Lake last weekend, and I noticed a LOT of competition quilts seem to use this whole-area "knock-down" technique to create texture. Is this a trend or just something I haven't seen before since that was my first quilt show? Do you know if the long-armers are doing the same sort of motion to fill the areas as you teach here? I'm very curious about this. The quality of the fills that I saw in the show was phenomenal. In my blog post on the show, which I linked up to your last link party, I included pictures of a few quilts with this technique.
