Quilter’s Home Top 55!
Whoo Hoo! I was listed in the top 55 blogs by Quilter’s Home Magazine!
This is crazy cool because one of the sort of kick butt moments of my life was when my Dad picked up a Quilter’s Home magazine 2 years ago that had a similar blog and website list.
He told me about it and said “I didn’t see your blog on the list.”
I can remember thinking “Oh yeah?! I’ll show you buddy!”
And now I have! A lot has happened since that summer 2 years ago, even Quilter’s Home Magazine is very different now, which is a testament to what can happen in a very short space of time.
While making top lists certainly wasn’t my main goal with starting this project, it certainly feels great to have the recognition. I just love helping quilters, teaching, and connecting with all of you!
Let’s go quilt,
Leah
You're top on my list! I love the free motion project.
Congratulations! You deserve it!
Congratulations Leah…your whole family must be so proud of you since there are soooo many quilter's blogs out there! You're top on my list too & I look forward to getting your book (which I've ordered) in the mail soon !
Congratulations, Leah!
Congratulations!!!
Making the Top list is how I found your blog. I just finished reading the article and going to all the blogs listed. I am so excited to find a blog about free motion quilting because I am new at it and need all the help I can get. Thanks for having such an awesome blog.
Wahoo! You have certainly earned this honor. If there were a top 5, you'd have my vote.
Make sure your Dad gets a copy of the mag ok?
Congrats Leah! Love your tutorials and you definitely qualify for the top 10 quilting sites too! 🙂
Cool beans 🙂
Couldn't believe "modern day quilts" on that list. First time I've seen it… I've been doing the same thing for longer 😮 http://quiltopia.blogspot.com

Bravissima!!! Io ti seguo sempre 🙂
Congratulations, being in print like this will give you a real boost, but remember we followers also keep spreading the word. On Monday night at the guild show and tell, comments were made about my quilting and I honestly confirmed that in the end I just take a piece and 'jump in both feet flying' when I start to quilt – so often I plan what I intend to do, but when I sit at the machine instinct just takes over – this I've learnt from you – I doodle and repeat designs and the 'memory' takes over when the quilting starts – and I always advise these quilters, either new to quilting or new to FMQ to go to this blog and go back through all the designs and advice you've given (one member said she has a Horizon machine, does basic quilting bit the dogs down – she really needs to check out your blog and experiment when she gets her machine back from the shop – 3 trips for maintenance problems already, have you had problems with yours?)
Congratulations! I have been following your blog almost 2 years. You deserve the honor. It is fun to tell others, "I knew her when".
Congrats, Leah, I tell people about your blog and DVDs all the time. My instructor at a recent machine quilting class even recommended your blog. Keep up the fantastic work.
