Yep, I’m still pretty beat from Quilt Fantastic, but that’s okay! As I said in the podcast, I love to shake things up and get out of my comfort zone. Doing a show, bringing boxes of books and fabric, and traveling is tiring, but it’s great to do something different now and then.

Super thank you to everyone that attended Quilt Fantastic and three cheers for Bob Bolton who hosted the event! I loved teaching longarm quilting and sharing ideas for finishing quilts faster.

As I prepared for the event, I took the time to count all of my unfinished quilt tops. 51! I didn’t realize I had that many tops laying around. I really want to get these quilts finished so they can be used and enjoyed.

Finally, Josh and I are approaching the 10th anniversary of the Free Motion Quilting Project. We realized on the drive back from Tennessee that we haven’t had a vacation in 10 years!

So we’re taking a break through the month of July. What does this mean?

• The Quilt Shop will still be open!
• Josh will still be fulfilling orders and answering email questions.
• I’ll still post the Friendship Quilt Along videos on the first, second, and third Monday of the month.
• I’ll also post the How Do I Quilt It? video to the Quilt Friends Club.

I’m going to take a break on podcasts, Frame Quilting Friday videos and extra tutorials so I can focus exclusively on the book Goddess Quilt Journey. I can’t wait to begin laying out this book and designing the pages to be as beautiful as the quilts!
