Upgrade Your Quilting Frame with Quilter’s Creative Touch

I’m adding quilt motion to my frame this week! This is Quilter’s Creative Touch, an automation system which adds a motor to your carriage, drive belts to your frame, and a tablet to run the software to your longarm. Basically this allows the longarm to move by itself!

Click Here to learn more about Quilter’s Creative Touch – I chose to upgrade to the Beginnings level software so I could start from the beginning and not be overwhelmed by extra features I don’t need from the start. Note – the price of this upgrade is increasing on October 1st!

Click Here to find the tablet I’m using (affiliate) – This tablet is the only extra thing you need to purchase for this upgrade. It must be a Windows based tablet with a full sized USB port.

Upgrading My Frame with Quilter’s Creative Touch

I’m really proud of myself because I build this upgrade almost completely by myself. Josh helped me pick up the longarm and move it off the frame and then put it back on the frame. But other than that, I did all the work!

The upgrade kit comes with instructions and brackets for adding automation to the following frames: Continuum, Q-Zone Hoop, Q-Zone Queen, SR2, Majestic, Pinnacle, Bernina Frame, Janome Artistic, and Launchpad.

The best part about QCT automation is that it’s not limited just to Grace Qnique machines. QCT can be used on the following home machines / longarms on one of our frames:

  • Grace Qnique 15R or 15 PRO
  • Grace Qnique 19
  • Grace Qnique 21
  • Babylock Quilter’s Choice Pro
  • Bernina Aurora or Artista 7 Series
  • Bernina 820 / 830
  • Rock Blockit
  • Elna 7100
  • Elna 7200 or 7300
  • Janome 1600
  • Janome 6500 or 6600
  • Juki TL-98Q or TL-98QE
  • Juki TL-2000Qi or TL-2010Q or 2200QVP Mini

Adding automation to your longarm or home machine can be intimidating so I hope this video has helped you! I had a great time filming this video step-by-step and I love seeing my machine move all on it’s own! Click Here to learn more about Quilter’s Creative Touch.
