Long Quilting Day

I missed blogging yesterday and I’d been on a nice streak too! Oh well, I’m not going to beat myself up about it. I didn’t touch my computer all day yesterday which felt awesome.

Instead I put myself back in jail again and quilted nearly an entire quilt on the Grace Qnique. I have one more section to advance and quilt and then it will be done.

The more experience I get on the longarm machine, the more I’m surprised by the speed I get on this machine. I think it’s the absence of having to stop and shift the quilt that makes the difference. I expected this quilt to take most of the week to finish, but instead it was nearly done when I quit last evening.

What, no photo? Sorry, this is one of those projects I can’t share until it’s ready to post and that won’t be fore another 6 months. I know, that’s annoying, so here’s a picture of my pretty cat, Pickles, on the Prism Path baby quilt instead.

I’m not a big fan of secret sewing or quilting, but sometimes we just can’t stitch around it. He he he…

I have a second quilt to quilt and film videos on this week. I’m also working on embroidery designs, Josh is editing Mally the Maker, and I’m designing more fabric and pantographs for the longarm.

Whew! That’s a full plate. I have a new post for Prism Path coming in a bit too. I plan to double up on blog posts today to make up for missing yesterday. I WILL rebuild this habit of blogging / journaling every day.

Let’s go quilt,
