Oh, that;s awesome! I went to Tybee Island on a business trip, so drove through Savanna. Have always wanted to go back since and check out the old homes.

This is funny, because that's what hubby and I like to do on trips AND we were also away this weekend for an anniversary getaway. Great minds! 😀

What a joyous post…such a pleasure to read! Also, you look beautiful, and I love your clothes! The long-sleeved lace is lovely, and your jacket shows off your quilting so nicely!

Happy Anniversary and it looks like you had a fantastic time. Congratulations on the well deserved ribbons and what a great Anniversary present for you both!

You bought the Juki! That is so cool.

I think you should suggest to Craftsy a class on how to make a quilted jacket. I'd love one like yours to wear to shows, but am a bit tentative to just set out and try to do it.

Can't wait to hear about the Juki. I tested one last week over at Stonecrest in South Charlotte. It was very nice and I liked the fact that it can also be put on a frame in the future if so desired.

So glad to hear about your trip and really enjoyed hearing and seeing your reports from the quilt show. Congrats on the two ribbons, well deserved. Savannah is a great city, I lived there in 1974, before it was "cool" ?

Happy Anniversary and what a great trip that must have been, visiting that beautiful city and enjoying the delicious food! Congratulations on your so well deserved ribbons and the wonderful Juki! You look so happy testing it! I'm sure it will inspire you to do even more of your fabulous quilting!

  8. Happy Anniversary! Looks like you had a fantastic time. I can't wait to hear about the Juki 22000. Looking forward to meeting you next week in New Hampshire!

  9. OMG…..I just got my Juki this week….I ordered it at Road to Calif……it is a dream machine for me, and I know that you will love it. I got this model because it would be mountable on a frame if I wanted. Enjoy!!!!!

  10. Wow, what a gorgeous place, just came back from my Easter holiday from the South Island, where our daughter lives so caught up with the grand children, had an amazing time and the views there are to die for, gorgeous little coffee shops and amazing views. The town is called Queenstown in New Zealand and the little village of Wanaka was amazing as well! Hope to visit Savanah later
