Leah Day has been teaching online since 2009. She's the creator of the Free Motion Quilting Project, a blog filled with thousands of quilting tutorial videos. Leah has written several books including 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs, Explore Walking Foot Quilting with Leah Day, and Mally the Maker and the Queen in the Quilt.

    I love your drawing–my opinion –no more hair –just sayin' –I love it just as it is..but I realize that you are thinking in terms of piecing this beauty–so I cannot wait to see how she comes out, Leah.     Only because you asked, yes the hair distribution does not seem even. There is a thin patch between approx 9-11 position on the clock face.
