Josh’s Lines & Grids in a Cheater Drunkard’s Path

This block was a lot of fun, and I especially liked the designs in the quarter circle corners. I’ve been working on getting more control over the speed of the machine, either by speeding up my hands when my stitches look too small, or by slowing down the machine not with the speed slider, but with the foot pedal.

I was curious about free motion zigzag and glad I gave it a try. It’s actually a lot easier than you might think. I did have to rotate the block a lot to stay right on the line, but it certainly had an interesting feel to quilt this way.
