Craftsy Live Chat Today!

Do you have a burning question about free motion quilting? Would you like to hang out in real time?

I love to chat with as many quilters as I can, and if this is popular, it might become a monthly or weekly event for us to get together and connect!

Also live today is my recent chat with Pat Sloan on American Patchwork and Quilting Radio. Tune in right here and hear all about blogging – why you should do it, how much fun it is, and ideas for potential videos!

Tune in, chat, listen, and enjoy!

You can join the event on facebook with the first link. The actual live link will be up in about 38 minutes. I'll post again when it's going!

I am sorry I missed your first live chat session. I would have enjoyed it so much. I have something you might try. I like how well a spray baste holds fabric but I don't like what it leaves in the fabric. I mix my own Best Press solution which is 4 cups distilled water, 1 to 2 cups liquid starch. Add starch to desired stiffness. 2 to 4 ozs of Vodka. The vodka keeps the solution fresh and leaves a smooth feel to the fabric. I have used this solution to stick pieces of batting and fabric together using less pins to hold the layers together. I will let you now how well it stays put after being scrunched through the sewing machine throat. Sew Peacefully
