  4. Irene says:

Are you going to be selling the book from your web site?

  5. Leah Day says:

Irene – We're not planning to sell this particular book from our site simply because it seems a better deal for you guys to order it from Amazon and get free shipping.

However, if you have issues with Amazon, or simply really want a signed copy, shoot us an email and we'll see what we can do!

    Cheers,

    Leah

  6. Congrats! What an exciting accomplishment! Hope they sell like hot cakes! 🙂

I never have spent so much for a book in my life and I can hardly wait for it to arrive. Our local print shop puts in spiral bindings very reasonably. I will be checking that out. Others might want to do that too. Congrats Leah. It looks beautiful

  8. Ann in NC says:

Congrats! Just curious, if we have your two other books, will much of this new book be a duplication?

  9. Veronica says:

Considering how willingly Leah has shared information with everyone who reads her blog, we should all rush out and purchase this book. She is a young entrepeneur and we should all support her efforts!

  10. Leah, I was just playing Words With Friends on Face book and an ad for your book was the pop up ad between plays. Though you might like to know! My finances need to recover from my DD's wedding, but i intend to buy the book eventually.

  11. Congratulations, Leah, and I can tell you that the book is also available from Amazon.co.uk again with the Free Postage option. Needless to say I've ordered a copy and can't wait!

  12. Congratulations! You've worked so hard for this. I just ordered my copy and can't wait to get my hands on it. Thanks so much for doing this for all of us!

  13. Nancy says:

Congratulations to you! What a wonderful professional and personal achievement.

Congratulations on your new book! I'm so happy for you. I've been following your blog for a while and you inspired me to get past my fear of free motion quilting! Thanks!

    Lean is beautifu! Congrats

  16. Irene says:

Leah, no nothing against Amazon. Will be ordering today. Online is nice but nothing replaces a real book. Love your work and inspiration. Thanks for doing this.

  17. Vanesa says:

    Congratulations! What an accomplishment, Leah!

  18. Jane says:

    Congratulations, Leah!
Was it sort of like being pregnant?
    Best,
    Jae

  19. Leah Day says:

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and support. Here's a few answers to your burning questions:

Jane – If it's possible to be pregnant for almost 4 years, then yes, it most definitely felt that way! Mostly it's always been a question as to whether this book was even possible, but it feels great to finally have it in a solid physical form.

Ann in NC – If you have my other two books, then approximately 110 designs will be duplicates. That leaves a measly 255 new designs to play with 😉

I will have to say the experience of flipping through this book is quite different from my other two books. It's much more like a coffee table book where the images stand up on their own. I find it very inspiring to just flip through, whether I'm searching for new designs to quilt or not.

    Cheers,

    Leah

  20. Congratulations, Leah! Looks like your new book will beautify the quilting world. I need to save up for it! Have a super day!

Carry on to motivate so many people around the world.

I've followed you since Day One, Leah – I thought you had guts and I loved your determination and skill. I never dreamed where you and this project would go and how famous you would become in 'our world'. Good on YOU! I just ordered the book – I want the big book right next to my longarm all the time. Thanks for the inspiration!

  24. Elaine Adair says:

Dear Leah – the DAY I saw this post of your beautiful book, I ordered it via Amazon. It arrived VERY quickly and is more beautiful than I had imagined. Just SEEING the lines is what I wanted. Money isn't everything – sometimes I want to open the book and just LOOK!

I love/need inspiration, and you provided it – thank you so much. In the meantime, I was able to CANCEL 2 other quilting books on order because there weren't enough designs in them. BIG thanks again!
