Lol Marjorie! That is so true! A glass of wine or mixed drink always makes free motion quilting a bit easier.

It's just regular half & half or heavy whipping cream for the White Russian.

I'm sure it could have some interesting flavors if you used the special coffee creams…hmmm..hazelnut white russian! Sounds divine!

    Cheers,

    Leah

ooh, that bloody beer does sound good. and white russians are also my favorite!

YUM! I like the Clamato variation of the beer drink, with another little twist – a spear of pickled asparagus instead of a celery stalk. Let's see, clamato juice is tomato juice and clam nectar so that counts as a vegetable AND seafood, right? And the asparagus is more veg, so this is like health food!

Ah, but do you make your own kahlua? If I can find the recipe from my drinking days, I'll pass it along….

  7. They both sound great but the beer would be perfect for me right now! Wish I had all the stuff to make it. I have tomato juice and Bud Light and some olives??

Sounds like a good drink after a night of a LOT of drinks ;c) ;c) ;c)

But yes. . . . a glass of wine DEF loosens up your FMQ muscles!!

I always thought I was was drinking it, 'cause when my wife sees me having a beer she often says "bloody beer again!"
