Leah Day has been teaching online since 2009. She's the creator of the Free Motion Quilting Project, a blog filled with thousands of quilting tutorial videos. Leah has written several books including 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs, Explore Walking Foot Quilting with Leah Day, and Mally the Maker and the Queen in the Quilt.

  1. I do a raw edge applique b/c I like the immediate result. I can see the possibilities of laying out one's design, covering with the organza and then going to town with the quilting. (I am a border to border gal so it may be awhile before I jump on that train though.) Great whole cloth. Don't you just love learning new concepts first hand! cw

    That was one BUSY weekend. Ok girl, if your legs are falling asleep you are spending.too. much.time.on.the.internet!! If you hate applique, come on over to my blog to see my new (and first!) tutorial on making fabric stickers. You just might change your mind about applique. I'm allergic to needleturn so had to find an easier way.
