75. Free Motion Quilting Modern Weave, #417
Time to quilt! It seems like my weekends are becoming more and more packed with fun activities with James and Josh as we prepare the yard for winter and decorate with lights for the holidays. It’s loads of fun, but I’m definitely going through quilting withdrawal by Mondays!
Now I’ve stitched this today on my usual tiny scale, but if you’d like to see this quilted on a much larger scale for a bed quilt, I did teach it that way in the Craftsy class Free Motion Fillers Volume 1.
Today’s design is a fun variation of Triangle Mosaic. Add in straight lines running in all directions and you end up with a beautiful Modern Weave:
Even with the extra lines, this design is pretty speedy, so if you’re needing a fast design to stitch through a quilt quickly, this might be a good fit!

I like this design a lot — I do have the Craftsy class, but haven't gotten to that lesson yet. I think it would be great on a larger area.
