Day 99 – Super Daisy

No! It’s a SUPER DAISY!
Are you getting excited??? You should be because today is day 99!
I can’t BELIEVE we have almost 100 designs. Makes me want to do a dance.
Uh, scratch that, it makes me want to go take a nap! Ha!
Make sure to stop by sometime tomorrow. I don’t know yet what will be going on, but it’s sure to be something pretty cool!
Inspiration – With yesterday’s Super Spiral, I figured we needed a super daisy as well!
Design Family – Center Fill. You start working on this mammoth flower from the center and can expand it as big as you want. It can pretty much go anywhere, so go try it!
Difficulty Level – Beginner. This design is really pretty easy. Just keep your flower petals consistent and it will fill your space quickly.
Directional Texture – Center focused. Yeah, I know you guys are getting sick of these center focused designs. I promise I’ll knock it off soon!
Suggestions for Use – I’m planning on using Super daisy on a bright crazy quilt to fill large portions of the quilt at a time. The bigger your daisy, the faster your quilt will get finished!

Not to be a stalker or anything, but I LOVE daisies, so this design is now one of my favorites! Just thought I'd let you know!
I have been following along quietly, thinking about how I might use these designs, but had to jump in today to say how much I like this one. I am really enjoying the center fill designs by the way! And, if you could throw in something to quilt in a background that kinda sorta looks like snow, now would be a great time for it : ) as I have a gift I have to start quilting in the next week!
This is beautiful! I think it is my favorite so far. but I am a big fan of flowers.

I'm going to use this in some squares of quarter-square triangles on a quilt for my daughter. She's 7 and I made the mistake of letting her pick the thread color. The quilt is made of light pastels, but she chose bright red for the petals, so every little mistake is showing. But, rather than rip them out I'm going to leave them since it gives the quilt a real personal touch.
