Landscape Quilting Designs – FMQ and Ruler Foot Quilting!

I really enjoyed quilting this painted landscape with Undulation, Ocean Currents, and simple Ruler Quilting. The Super Slide and Mini Slide rulers just happened to fit the landscape curves just right. How is that for a strange coincidence many years after the fact?!
Yep, this little landscape has been in progress for a very long time. I believe I painted it back in 2012 and then I got stuck on what to do with it next.
These days I’m digging through my drawers and cabinets and pulling out all the little quilts like this that I’ve saved. I’m determined to finish them all so I can use and enjoy them in my home!

Hello Leah, you haven’t stop surprising us with the most unusual and interesting ideas to try out. This time you really give us a new way of learning by paying attention to every move you make; it was fine in this case because easy to understand what was your goal. But every time I watch a commented video on a n ew approach or technique I learn something with your comments so really I consider this approach to be useful only for very obvious situations. Thank you for sharing Roseline! I’m so glad you watched both videos and shared your opinion. Yes, I think the speed version isn’t really for education. It’s more for inspiration and the fun of seeing something that takes a lot of time happen really fast. But, yes, you’re right, this isn’t a good fit if I’m trying to teach a technique.
