If your goal is to master quilting, it’s high time you quilt along with me!
Since 2012, I’ve shared a new machine quilting focused quilt along every year. Each quilt along is a little different than the last, but the main focus of each quilt along is machine quilting skill building. You’ll first learn how to piece the quilt blocks or the entire quilt top together with me. All of the quilt alongs listed as “Quilt-as-You-Go” are pieced and quilted in small blocks. This makes the quilt projects much easier to quilt on a home machine.
After piecing, we then machine quilt our quilts step-by-step. Sometimes this means one block at a time. Sometimes I’ll share multiple quilting designs for each block. Every machine quilting quilt along is a little different than the last!
You’ll find some quilts focus on free motion quilting and some focus on walking foot quilting. We just recently finished the Friendship Sampler Quilt and this quilt along included home machine quilting and longarm quilting too!
All of these projects are perfect for quilters wanting to build new skills for machine quilting. If you’ve been wondering what to do with the quilting designs I’ve shared or if you have lots of tops and no idea how to finish them, this will be perfect for you!

So how do you join a Quilt Along?
All you need to do is pick up the book or patterns required for that project. You don’t need to sign up anywhere special or register. All you need to do is pick up the book or pattern and then follow along with the posted quilting tutorials at your own pace.
All of the Quilt Alongs listed above are complete meaning all of the tutorials and videos needed to complete the project are already online and ready for you to follow along.
