Welcome to the 2018 Walking Foot Quilt Along! Together we’re going to piece and quilt three beautiful quilts with walking foot quilting!

Quilt Along #1 – Marvelous Mosaic
We started Marvelous Mosaic first to learn the basics of walking foot quilting. This is a throw-sized quilt-as-you-go quilt so the blocks are easy to manage on your home machine. Find all of the tutorials for 30 walking foot quilting designs linked up here:

I used this simple binding method to connect the blocks for both Marvelous Mosaic and the Hugs & Kisses Quilt from the book Explore Walking Foot Quilting.
Quilt Along #2 – Rainbow Log Cabin
One of my favorite quilts from the book is this beautiful Rainbow Log Cabin. You can piece it with seven colors to create a solid effect, or make it super scrappy happy with fat quarters of each color. At 80-inches square, this quilt is one of the largest I’ve ever shared in a quilt along!
This bright rainbow quilt always makes me smile!
Quilt Along #3 – Prism Path Baby Quilt
No quilt along is complete without a baby quilt. When I polled quilters about which quilts they wanted to create from the book, this baby quilt was the #1 quilt picked! I quilted it with a combination of two walking foot quilting designs. The smaller size definitely made it popular with quilters during the quilt along.
This baby quilt is the perfect size for learning walking foot quilting on your home machine!
