Dancing Butterfly Design #17 – Abstract Leaf

Finally life feels back to normal and I’m back to posting new designs for the Dancing Butterfly Quilt Along! Today let’s learn how to free motion quilt Abstract Leaf, a pretty design that combines triangles and tear drop shapes for a pretty effect.

I love how this looks on a bigger scale! The straight line, triangles, and tear drop echoes form a nice contrast with one another. For these blocks I quilted with Hobbs Heirloom Wool, which added extra pretty puff between the quilting lines.
