I find that once you put yourself out there in the public domain you make yourself an easy target. I do quilting demos on UK Tv, and since establishing myself over the last few years I have started receiving the occasional personal attack about my quilts, my hair, my teeth, my weight and anything else that people feel they have a right to comment on. It takes a long time to develop a thicker skin but I am learning that a lot of these people are just sad and lonely individuals with nothing better to do with their time than to take pot shots at someone who's talent and career they are jealous of! I think they forget that there is a real person at the other end of the keyboard and that we have feeling sot be hurt. Well Said! xx
