Leah has written several books including 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs, Explore Walking Foot Quilting with Leah Day, and Mally the Maker and the Queen in the Quilt.

  2. What fun. I must play the mad scientist more often myself, at I will have a good laugh. Sometime life is too serious. I look forward to seeing where you go with this. Enjoy.

    You can do this technique without using dissolvable fabric. Wrap thread over a frame and stitch across. A frame with little depth is ideal, which you can make out of a wire coathanger.
