  3. Glad to have you back. Hope all is well with you and yours. It is hard to be sick when there are so many fun things to do!
Looking forward to the next couple of weeks. I have not done much quilting on marked lines but realize it gives many more possibilities for quilting! I have been making tracings of leaves or drawings of shells, butterflies etc. but have not used any yet. That first step is always the most difficult! Your teaching has been a major help! Thanks!

Thank you Leah for the wonderful tutorial.

I have one question regarding the fabric, what kind of fabric do we need to use for Wholecloth quilt?
Does it have to be Batik or broadcloth? Can we also use some prints which are not attention grabbing?

I'm looking forward to making a whole cloth quilt. This will be a new venture for me. Maybe I can use some of my hand dyed fabric.

Rosemary here. This is stunning. I am excited to learn and try this.
My mom is 89 and she is just so stunned to learn about all of these quilting and sewing techniques.
My mom does other amazing things, and most in her past now that she is old :-/
She used to make Belgian Lace, and lots of handwork, lots of embroidery, really intense stuff. So when she looks at my stuff she is stunned. When I look at her, I am stunned at hers. haha
Thank you Leah for all of your encouragement and certainly many thanks for your knowledge

Leah- I made this quilt with you when you first taught it, but now I wanted to thank you for giving permission to use it to teach others.

I'm going to be teaching my first workshop on micro-quilting to my guild soon (unpaid, since they'll be my guinea pigs) and I think this may be the perfect project to start on!

  22. Leah. I can't find the free pattern for the heart wall quilt you have the lesson on.

  23. Leah Day says:

It's actually being re-released tomorrow as a video workshop! Swing back by here tomorrow for more details!
