I've been to Asheville. It's a fun town. It's always fun to do something different and recharge your batteries. Glad you had a chance to enjoy this day with your hubby and son!

  6. Last time I was in Asheville, my Mom took me to a giant shoe store near the Arboretum. It carries a huge selection of regular and European shoes at discounted prices. It was all self-service. I liked it better than Tops, esp. for casual shoes.

So very glad to hear that you've taken a little time to yourself and share with you boy. 200 posts – I look on it a 200 gifts of inspiritation, encouragement and the gift of important knowledge. I've been swaying between monogram fonts and celtic knots as the basis for a 'full' tester / sampler panel to FMQ, and I think I've now found one (and one that can be developed and adapted as my skills (hopefully) improve – when I get underway I promise to share my humble journey. Thank you Leah for everything you have and are giving us.

Sounds like you had a terrific day. Though I'd be bummed if I couldn't satisfy my craving for Thai food. But tacqueiria food is the good too. When you come to the San Francisco area, I'll take you out for Thai food. Or whatever. You'll be in foodie paradise.
You know you deserve the break! Thank you for all 200 posts and look forward to more.

Congratulations on 200 posts Leah, that's a lot of work! I'm glad you had a day off and it got your creative juices flowing. I really enjoy following your blog and thank you for all your hard work sharing your excellent quilting knowledge. But remember, it's good to have some 'me' time too. We won't be going anywhere while you take a time out.

Leah, you've been an inspiration to us all. I used to noodle around on facebook and see how people twittered their lives away and now, because of your blog, I'm interacting with bunches of fantastic creative people. I'm frustrated because I can't get my latest quilt finished because I never get time to sit down and work on it. Hrrumph… Love your sketches for the new quilt. I'm very fond of goddess forms, too.

Thanks for all you've shared in the past 200 posts! Looking forward to the next 200!
