These are just too cute. Thank you for this pattern and tutorial.

  2. Love it!!! I would never have thought of this, so thank you for the inspiration. I've pre-washed the fat quarters, but have no idea what is going to happen with them here. The vibe that came from this entire Quilty Box told me that whatever happens with this fabric collection will be good. (And don't you love the ring pincushion?)

  3. I love your wonky trees – am definitely going to give them a go (for next year's xmas to-do list at least!) Thanks for sharing your skill and ideas – have a wonderful, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I'll be camping in a tent at Lake TeAnau in Fiordland so will be taking a break from quilting for a couple of weeks (doing LOTS of reading instead) and will be all charged up for sewing in January. Cheers!

The trees look like a fun and easy block to make. Don't know if you've tried them or not but Color Catchers are a life…or rather laundry saver. I'm not a pre washer so I put a couple in with my quilts when I wash them the first time and also with new clothing that may bleed and have never had a bleeding issue. They are available in most grocery store laundry aisles. I always keep a box or two on hand. Thanks for the tree tutorial and Merry Christmas!
