I love to watch you quilt. It always inspires me to try again. So much so that I bought a sewing machine just like yours! What foot are you quilting with. It is different from the one that came with my machine.

Anne: I have the same machine as Leah, the Janome Horizon 7700. The foot is a combination of the Convertible free motion quilting foot (QB-H) and the Open-toe foot (which is often called an open toed darning foot by other manufacturers). I am very impressed by the way my Janome FMQs. I use Isacord 100% polyester thread in both the top & bobbin, and I have very few thread breaks. Hope you enjoy your machine and your FMQ journey! What is the music you play during the fast parts?

  4. Leah Day says:

It's music created by my Father-in-law, Chet Day. You can find info about his music here: http://casaday.com/old-man-still-got-juice/
