Design Day
Just in case you haven’t looked at a calendar today, it’s the awesomely cool date of 11/11/11. In America at least, it’s Veteran’s Day, which means the mail won’t run, many places will be closed, and generally it’s a great day to take a break, hang out with family, and enjoy the changing weather.
It’s finally getting colder here in NC, so Josh built me a fire and I’m spending the day working on new designs for the project for next year.
I’m going through all the designs I’ve created so far and trying to find simpler, less complex versions to fill in the gaps between certain designs. With over 365 designs created, it’s really hard to keep track of them all!
I’ll try to shoot some photos today so you can see a few sneak peaks of what is to come. Back to work…err….Play!
Let’s go quilt (or design)!

Aw, you're such a cutie! And you look comfy and relaxed. A fire would be great here too (Canada) as it is snowing. Unfortunately, I only can flip the switch to the gas fire…not quite the same! Enjoy your holiday (here too) – I'm piecing right now and having a cup of tea!

I'll be looking forward to what you've been planning today
It's been Armistice Day here so we had our 2 minutes silence at 11am
Cold and Frosty in Washington State- no fireplace but plenty of quilts to snuggle up in. shoot, I forgot about the NO-Mail! Have fun designing. I hope to quilt some of your designs a bit today.
Lucky you! I still have to work today, no holiday here. You have enjoy and have fun.
Enjoy 🙂
