How would you work this design around the corner on a border?

I like this one a lot, too, Leah. Looks fairly "doable" for me! I really appreciate your suggestions for WHERE on the quilt you would use a technique like that. Very helpful for a newbie. 🙂 (I did link back to you today.)

  3. Running out of pins to baste with doesn't mean you have to finish any quilts…..it means you need to go to the store and buy some more pins. You obviously don't have enough pins!

Joyce – Check out this post again. I updated it with a new photo of this design stitched out over a corner in two different ways just for you!

I think the videocast is a wonderful idea as long as it's fun for you….can't wait to try the wiggly woven lines in a border. I agree that the second version looks nicer at the corner. Keep up the good work…this site is one of the first I check each day. Thanks so much.

Leah your timing is perfect. I just completed piecing two baby quilts for my neice's boys and was struggling to find a good fill stitch for the sashing. Love this one and will try it. Thanks for all the great ideas on your blog.
